You’re kidding, right?
Well, the USAF has let me down. They announced the new tanker aircraft selected today, and they chose Northrop Grumman’s KC-45. Not a bad choice – at least intially, until you see that the aircraft the tanker is based on is an Airbus A330. You know – the product of EADS, a European corporation that owns Airbus.
This is like awarding a new troop transport to Toyota. Now the military is basically outsourcing. Sad, sad, sad.
