Sprouts!

By Chris | February 7, 2008

I busied myself with a little project putting up the support hoops for the garden. From these hoops I will will hang the plastic for when it gets cold out, and it’ll keep it a little warmer in there on the cool days. In the spring I will put a screening fabric on them in order to keep those bastard moths off that killed my plants last year.

Lettuce sprouts!

The hoop-la. I have to go and get a fourth piece of PVC. I was going to just do three hoops, but four looks like it’d be more stable and support some rain or whatever. It should also withstand wind a little better as well.

I noticed some of the peas have sprouted in my little indoor seed nursery…  The one in the 2nd row is a Roma tomato popping up.

My only other issue today thus far is waiting for my truck to be finished.  It’s getting the HVAC mode door actuator replaced.  It went out on my 2002, though then it was the ‘blendoor actuator.’  Whatever.   Warranty.  Fix it please.
