It’s a Monday (for me anyways)

I would like to know where all the lost clothing items go. Much like how socks seem to lose their partner, I seem to have something in my closet that eats pants. And only those pants that seem to fit (why can’t it eat the pants that don’t fit?). I have a pair of khakis that I wear wore to work, only they’ve been MIA for several weeks. Bah. Maybe I should stop getting fat…haha… and then all my clothes will fit!

I got my shiny new cell phone in on Monday, a Palm Treo 755p. I spent several hours getting it tuned the way I like it (ringtones, alerts, etc). Mine is an Azure Green one, thus far only available with Verizon. It’s slightly smaller and lighter, sacrificing battery life. I was a little dismayed to find that the battery from my Treo 650 will not fit in the 755p - it’s too fat. (theme this morning, eh?). I had hoped to use the old battery as a backup, but oh well. The 755 charges thru a USB cord, in addition to its wall charger, so that’s a nice feature. The 755 also lacks a protruding external antenna - which I liked on the 650 because I could use it to pull it out of my pocket. The internet is also stupid fast on the new one, as it has the EVDO capability the 650 did not. It has a few speed issues, but I am working on sorting those out, and I believe it’s mostly that some of the programs have not been adapted for the 755 yet so they are not as efficient.

Today is my long day - work from 0700-1600 and then class from 1700-2145. It is on these days that it seems I wake up early (0520 today) when I could really use the rest for later on. Oh well. Guess I wasn’t tired?
