Worst Movie. Fabulous Printer.

Went to see “Balls of Fury” with Eric and Brandy tonight. My recommendation: don’t. It wasn’t so good. By not so good, I mean it sucked. Mediocre humor. Stupid story/plot. Bah.
In other news, I got my Epson R380 photo printer in today. I got it via Epson’s online store, a refurb job for $79.00 and free shipping. I am totally not against getting a refurbed anything, so long as it works. It prints okay on normal paper, and I was a little skurred, so I went and got the photo paper and holy crap, it’s amazing. You wouldn’t know it was a home ink jet printer. I am totally impressed at the advances that have been made in the last 10 years (when I last bought an ink jet). Back then the photos looks ‘okay’ and now they look totally amazing. I’m working on trying to get the color profiles all set so it matches Photoshop CS2. Only drawback: the photo paper is not so cheap.

I too am totally amazed at the quality that comes from my HP Photosmart 3210 all-in-one printer/Fax/scanner.
Inks ARE expensive but Sam’s Club offers a nice complete combo pack of all the Vivera 02 inks I need for a good price.
Sam’s also carries a box of 150 8×10 sheets of Royal Brites photo glossy photo paper that is pretty darned reasonable. Check it out.
Believe me, I have a 50 year history of making my own prints!
