You just can’t make this stuff up, folks.  They call 911 for barking dogs too.  One called for their cable being out.  Another for water.  And electric - I’ve gotten the ‘my power is out’ call.  I wish we could send them a bill [...]

So, apparently last night whilst I slept there was what sounded (to a couple people anyway) like gunshots in the Goose Creek area.  Specifically, the trash-hole of Thurgood Rd behind the Foxborough subdivision.  I knew about it because at about 1100 we got a call from someone concerned.  So concerned, they waited like 9 hours [...]
