Eeeek!

A few weeks ago I had wandered out to the garden before work one morning and found one of these critters munching on my tomato plants.  In my semi-awake mode the thing startled it.  It was so big, it was so ugly, it had a horn on its ass.  I half thought it might bark at me.  The first one was about 5″ long, and I found another the following night.  Needless to say both of them were dispatched promptly.  I found this little bugger tonight:

You can’t see it, but I had already sprayed a copious amount of insecticide on him (organic…probably the only organic thing I own)  It started spazzing out and then I put him out of his misery with my show on the ground.  I hate bugs.  They make my skin crawl, and I’ve been known to scream like a girl (yes, I’ll admit it) when something like a cockroach lands on me.  (shiver)  Yuck.
