Fallen Firefighters

Two of the nine firefighters missing/killed in the W. Ashley furniture store fire are reported to be two people that work with me at Pine Ridge Fire Department. We found out shortly before 2300 last night and are still awaiting details/confirmation.

As I type a nice thunderstorm appears to be wrapping up.  The tick tick tick of hail smacking the window woke me up.  I’ve not seen hail (in person) in a while.  I snapped some pictures.  Unfortunately, this storm probably washed all my *&@#( grass seed away from its desired spot.  Grr.

Spoleto Free: 10 years and counting

I’ve been down here 10 years, and haven’t gone to ANYTHING Spoleto-related once.  Much like going to church, I’ve little desire to break the streak of non-attendance.
