It will cost you and I more. Chas County EMS is upping their rates, and rightly so…all this EMS whiz-bang gadgetry adds up, especially with those new AVL (automatic vehicle locator) and mapping systems they installed in their rigs. Of course, you and I will still be left footing the bill for those who do not pay for their rides in the orange striped bus. Remember, we already pay for Medicaid… Hopefully Lundy’s little math will work out and the citizens of Charleston County will not see their taxes raise to cover it. Only time will tell.
