Final Run: Procession for Kilo 11 & Kilo 15
By Chris | March 30, 2007
The funeral procession for Cpl Stiles (K11) and PFC Wells (K15) passed by GCPD today. I had picked up my camera and was able to catch the procession as it headed from North Charleston, through Goose Creek city to Moncks Corner. There were probably over 50 police vehicles and a dozen agencies in the procession. It was a very somber sight.
I have posted 47 pictures of the procession at:
http://www.signal46.com/imagery/v/police/loddmcpd/
The pictures have not been edited and are in a high-quality format, best viewed at their original size. As of 1700 today they are uploading (slowly), they should be complete within the next 30 minutes.
Kilo 11 and Kilo 15, thank you for your service, your final call has been answered, 10-42. Rest in peace. -Operator 4, GCPD.

Thanks, it’s hard, but I wanted to do something so that their memory lives on, at least here on the internet. I may not be an officer, I may be just a dispatcher, but there’s still that bond between officers and their dispatchers - even from different agencies. I used to dispatch the Kilo (MCPD unit callsign) units when I worked for Berkeley County July 2004 to July 2005. Many of the officers at my agency knew Cpl Stiles and PFC Wells and the loss of these two officers has affected many.
