So, still new Trailblazer hunting. Went and drove a 2007 LT at Marathon Chevy (the former Michael Chevy in Summerville). Very nice. I want it. It seems they’re not likely to budge on the price, with it being Red Tag Event and all. It’s a good price but my problem is the whole trade-in thing. Since I removed all the emergency equipment earlier today (lights, siren, radio, etc), I drove to Carmax in Columbia to get a quote for my car, they offered $7K on it. 
I owe about $11K. :( No good. I guess I can bring it by Marathon tomorrow for another insult. I was hoping for maybe 9 or 10K on a trade-in, but not as low as freakin’ $7K. Ugh. Bastards. So, here’s for hoping for better news tomorrow.
In other news…McElveen in Mt P marks their shit up about $2500 from the online Chevrolet.com sticker, and then says it’s $98 over invoice. Hmmph.
