I love HGTV
HGTV has lately come out with some good shows. The Food Network as well, but that’s for another time. One of my favorite HGTV shows is the one called Hidden Potential, which is where they take someone looking for a house, and they show them several houses with a host. Then the second host is a computer-type interior designer that pulls out his Mac (vomit) and shows what they could change in the house and still remain (usually) within the budget of the homeshopper. Now, while it’s very impressive what they show you can do to the house…it’s even better what the homeshopper says when they’re in the house before they see the computer demo. Some of it is superharsh. I think they should periodically do the shows where the homeowner gets to see all the comments about their house. Imagine how funny that would be…definitely a TiVo show.
