Weekendish
Well, for most of the US, their weekend is not over, however mine essentially is. I’ve to work tomorrow at 1900 as usual, which is fine with me. I get eight hours of free money added to my check…which is nice, I need the money since the Great Check Card Fiasco of July 2006. Anyways, a nice little weeked recap… Thursday night of course was nonplussed due to the non-arrival of Ernesto (see previous posts below). On Friday I got up early, got the hairs cut and relaxed. Justin came over later and we spent the night watching TV and catching up on our days. 
Kind of late in the game we had decided to go out to Pantheon, however I could tell Justin wasn’t feeling well despite his insisting that he was fine. Almost in the door I made a command decision that we weren’t going to go in there (and pay the cover of course) when I could tell he wasn’t going to have a good time, so we headed home and eventually passed out in the wee hours. On Saturday we were up early enough that I managed to get the front and back yards cut. The back yard is looking okay where Eric and I have planted the grass. It’s not exactly golfcourse material, but it’s doing okay…the erosion is a non-issue over there now, and it looks nice and green. Later on in the day I met Justin and two of his friends, Chelsea and her boyfriend Ryan out for some food. We ultimately ended up wandering around DT Chas on a humid and crowded Labor Day weekend. We returned to the Summerville area probably just before midnight, I think and J and I ended up back home again watching a movie ‘Love Actually’ which I enjoyed. It had alot of recognizable actors/actresses in it. Today (Sunday) I slept until 5ish and am now doing laundry. The joy of having to sleep all day and stay up all night so I can be lucid at work tomorrow night. And with that…I’m off to retrieve the last of the laundry from the dryer.
