Signal 46

Signal 46 (n):

Radio code used to signify a unit in distress. Upon reciept and acknowledgement of Signal 46 over the radio frequency, the dispatcher will immediately reroute any and all available units to assist the unit declaring Signal 46.

Just my spot on the interweb to post my bitches, gripes, complaints and observations – and of course my opinions on such. Note: Names have been changed to protect those who may otherwise be considered innocent until proven guilty… haha. Also, while I will somewhat regularly post about law enforcement and public safety activities and things that happen on shift at my job, I won’t provide any information to anyone that may jeopardize anyones career (mine included), judicial proceedings, or that may inhibit the mission of the agency and/or city I work for. Basically, if you can’t get it through FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) procedures, or through the City’s public affairs, then I’m not giving it to you either.
