So, getting that shitfaced on a worknight….

Is NOT a good idea. I was bored last night and didn't want to just sit on my ass at home so I decided that I needed to go out. Garry and I met out at Dudley's and possibly would have gone over to Pantheon, but it was late and would have been a waste of a cover charge anyways. There was also some cute (yet tragic) guy named Travis who was there as well. Bastard spilled his drink all over the counter and it got on my pants and shirt. Yeah, that looked really nice. But I got pretty trashed, and hung out over at Gary's place after we left until I was sober enough to drive home. It was almost 5AM, and I had to be at work at 9:30. I thought I'd be okay when I woke up but no such luck, I felt like reheated shit. That's what I get for drinking that much on a pretty empty stomach. In any event I called them and told GCPD I wasn't feeling well, but should be in by 1200. I actually ended coming in around 1130, so here I am. I still feel bleh, kinda lethargic. I so want to go home and go to bed, but I figure by the time I get out of work I will prolly feel well enough that I won't end up going to bed early. I will try not to stay up very late tonight. I think I need some good, solid sleep.
This is the week that I work Thu from 7a-7p and then work Fri from 7p to 7a. So I get screwed out of my three day weekend, but I get it this week M-T-W and I'll be able to go out on Thursday since I work at 7p the next day. Going out will at least let me stay up late so I can be conscious on Fri night. It just sucks that I lose part of my weekend for that, but oh well. This leaves me with two weeks left on day shift before 10 weeks of nights (7p to 7a). Thank God it rotates, it would suck if it was like BC and it didn't rotate at all.
I'm doing this email post thing, so we shall see if it works, I've never done it. I was going to send it from my work email, however I didn't want a copy of what I sent to be on the server. Can't trust sneaky network admin people. Today at work has been shitty slow….but that's the usual for a Sunday anywhere. I think I am going to just relax and read my book now
